@arenyth: I got the idea in this thread : http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/wearing-your-dress-again-1. The Bees mentioned natural fabrics take dye better than synthetic. I haven't spoken to a professional about it yet, so I'd be interested to hear more too. I remember your dress and it really would look awesome in black.
These are my inspiration dresses. I'm even more excited that the second one is from the same designer as my dress. I know these weren't dyed and were made from black lace originally, but still...

@meliss: I just saw that black dress yesterday in that thread! I LOVE IT and I wish I had it :( My dress has a bunch of different fabrics, I really doubt it would work for mine. Let us know what happens if you try!

Meliss just posted in a thread about selling dresses that she was looking into dying hers. I think that is an awesome idea, but I know some fabrics don't take dye as well as others. Has anyone done this? Was it a success? Which fabrics are best for this? Man my dress would look awesome black...
