I watched! And I actually said to FI "This is the best episode since Michael left".
I don't understand robert california or Gabe, but they're amusing. I'm not sure how I feel about them making Erin into a weirdo. Her character has really changed since the beginning
I am an office fanatic :)
Edit: 2100 posts! I love when they are an even number. ugh..im ocd.
We have to watch them a day late because of being overseas, but we'll watch it tonight! Good to know it's a good one. We've been sorely disappointed in the show since Steve Carrell left.
@Mrs. Spring: I literally just watched that episode. I actually feel like the last few episodes are so much funnier than last season and the beginning of this season.
I watched! I think Gabe is sooo hilariously weird. The Andy/Erin/other chick storyline is just ok, and what's up with new office girl (i forget her name) - is she into Jim? I wonder where they are gonna go with that...
@Bostongrl25: lol you sound like mr monk.
@Bostongrl25: I agree, Erin seems out of her normal character ever since getting drunk at the Christmas party. Her purposefully trying to hit on Dwight made me cringe but also laugh.
@delirium.megans: I agree, I wonder if Pam's replacement has a crush on Jim!? Also, that actress and the actress playing Andy's girlfriend look similar to me.
@Mrs. Spring: Robert California cracks me up! I have always loved the office and i thought the past couple seasons were...eh..ok...but this season has def brought me back in. hysterical!
@delirium.megans: I was wondering the same thing about that girl and Jim. chicken fighting while your wife is home with a baby! shady. glad it didn't happen... but it does bring the drama.
I totally agree that a lot of the episodes haven't been as funny since Michael left, but they do seem to be picking up again.
@Bostongrl25: I just saw a rerun of Erin's first episode the other night, and they definitely have changed her character since she first came on the show. I like it, though. I especially loved her and Dwight last night; freaking cracked me up!
ETA: Oh for sure Pam's replacement (does anyone know her name?!) has a crush on Jim. But he seems pretty oblivious.
@beekiss: I think she does have a cruch on him. And those two actresses really do look too similar!
Erin has changed a bit this season. I like her though. I don't like Dwight but I liked them flirting to try to get Andy jealous last night. I don't know how I feel about that triangle.
I don't like the new girl because she has a crush on Jim and he is married so that is really inappropriate. Robert California is not my favorite but his creepy factor last night was funny,
I still miss Michael, but last night was good.
@totheislnds: Robert California totally skeeves me out. Last night when Erin said, "He told me he's a ride I wouldn't survive, and I believe him" and then when he told Ryan something about letting go of his inhibitions while they were dancing... Shudder. So funny but sooooooooooooo creepy.
I wish they wouldn't make her super crazy but I think it may just be because she is madly in love with Andy. I did like Erin and Dwight scheming last night though. I think they are finally finding their way without Michael on the show.
@totheislnds I don't think Jim ever did the chicken fight. I thought he was in his sweater, and jeans the whole time. Pam's replacement kept asking where Jim was during the episode. I feel like they are making Jim kind of boring so maybe this will spice up his story line.
I'm not sure why, but I looooove Robert California. He's just so creepy; I think he's a great character.
@lostinthemission: oh i know he didn't! thank god! shady of her though. but like i said, it brings the drama which isn't a bad thing.
I actually enjoyed it. Wasn't Pam worried about Jim thinking the replacement was attractive earlier in the season? Seems she wasn't too far off. But I do like the changes in Erin, though weird, it's growth from her first appearance. I figure since she's been "working" there for a while her quirks are really starting to show through.
And Robert California is the perfect amount of creepy to stay interested and keep everyone on their toes. I wonder what he's going to do next!

Last night's episode is the best one I've seen in a long time; definitely my favorite of this season so far. I especially loved when Jim dressed the dog up to look like Dwight. :)
Also, I think Gabe's character is super weird, but they're finally starting to make him funny weird. And Robert California went to a whole new level of creepy last night, which was hilarious.
