Don’t have her in the wedding? No dress = not in the wedding

seems simple to me….

Wait, is she even still MOH? Your title and thread are confusing to me. Still, I would just let her attend as a guest. You clearly say you’ve had issues with her and she hasn’t bought a dress for something that is a month from now which shows she isn’t interested. Sorry this happened to you.

If she doesn’t have her dress in time, then she can’t be in the wedding. Other than that what are you asking her to do?

(And as an aside, the people in your wedding party aren’t your employees, so you can’t ‘demote’ or ‘fire’ them…)

Uhhh… depending on where you order the dress, they can take 8 to 12 weeks to come in! She may have really missed the boat, here.

Agree with  PP, invite her as a guest but what she’s pulled in not bothering to buy her dress is not worthy of the honorary position. Doesn’t seem like she cares much, in my opinion.

What? Who says that? I didn’t lose any friends. Maybe all this demoting and promoting has confused her.

Annallen:  If you’re losing friends and people in your bridal party are not wanting to talk to you…then, yep, I can see that you’d be someone who ‘demotes’ her ‘girls’.

Good luck with your wedding. As I said before, if she doesn’t get her dress in time, that’s usually a tell-tale sign that she’s taken herself out of the wedding. Or, for you, I guess she’s giving you her two week notice…

sarals24:  I didn’t lose any either out of 6 girls and especially not a MOH.

Annallen:  So she is yet to pay for a dress for your wedding? Maybe cost is an issue? Or maybe the fact that you expect her to “relieve”” your headaches is?

I just wouldn’t have her in the wedding. If she doesn’t have her dress, there’s no reason for her to be in the bridal party.
