agreed on everything. and i'm surprised how little air time brandon has been getting... he seems to have fallen off the radar or something.
I love them all! As of right now, I really can't imagine who will win because they're all so freaking good.
Love my girl Melissa (the ballerina). I think she's definitely the most talented girl in the competition. It takes such strength and training to do what she does...makes me wish that I was still dancing myself!
Brandon is my favorite, but I love Jeanette as well. I'm happy Caitlin and Philip are gone. They just weren't as good as the others.
I really like Ethan because of all the stuff with his brother in the tryouts. He just seems like a great guy, even if he is not the best of the dancers. Melissa is my favorite girl, I like that she is the oldest, yet she is so good! I'm really not getting anything personality-wise from the blonde one. I can't think of her name right now either. I remember on the episode when the dancers were supposed to tell america about something special we should know about their partners and her partner said that she really likes to text! Seriously?! Texting??? I know that everyone is interesting and has their own individuality, but she is coming across as very bland.
i'm so sad about last week... we were running errands and came home to find out that our tv didn't dvr sytycd like usual. i've been dying to see the mia routine that we missed!
I LOVED Caitlin. She was my favourite, I loved her dances, and I don't know why she was always in the bottom. =(
My fave couple is Kupono and Kyla. =) They're my favourite for individual boy and girl, too.

I couldn't STAND Caitlin, so glad she is gone.
I really like Jeannette and Kayla (but can't stand Jeanine). I'm undecided about Melissa... her body kinda irks me lol - in a "her bones stick out like an underfed 13 year old boy" kind of way....
For the guys I really like Ade. I didn't think I would but he really won me over the last few weeks.
I agree that the one of the boys is gonna win it...
I love this show... its awesome. But Brandon and Jeannine... wow.
they are real real good.
I also love Ethan and Randi.
Heck... that butt dance is by far my favorite.

I was originally a big fan of Evan's, but he's just not bringing it! Every other season I've had an absolute favorite, but so far this season - I don't! I'm a little underwhelmed.
I'm happy Caitlin is gone. I feel like she wasn't at the same level as the other girls. I like the rest of them though!

I dont think I have a favorite just yet. I think Evan and Randi might be my favorite couple. I think they are absolutely adorable together; however, I do not think they are the strongest dancers on the show. I think Brandon and Kayla are probably the strongest. Oh, and Melissa, too. I'm looking forward to this week's dances, though. I think their true colors are going to come through now that they will be dancing solos.
Ooo, I look forward to this show every week! I think Brandon and Jeanette were heads and shoulders above the rest of the competition as a couple, so it should be interesting to see what happens now that they're split up.
I love Kayla but she seems a little airheaded to me...
I know Randi and Evan are cute but unless they step it up I think they should go next. I really hate when stronger dancers go home in place of the inexplicably popular ones. Same on American Idol although I don't really watch that show.
Regardless, I have sucha love/hate relationship with this show! I loooooove all the dances and choreography but it makes me miss dancing so much!
@MissFlamingo: I agree about the butt dance! I could watch that over and over again!
All right here is my two cents, I am not really thrilled with this season, I don't believe any of the dancers with the acception of Melissa and Brandon have the ability or the technique that past season dancers have had or heck even some of the ones they turned away this year. (Sorry had to get that off my chest as a dancer!)

I can't stand Caitlin or Asurka so super glad both of them are gone!
I love this season. Great group of dancer but I think the girls are head and shoulders about the boys. I wish they could just eliminate the guys and leave the girls on the show. haha.
I LOVED Caitlin after auditions but she just didn't bring it on the show. She's AMAZING in her own style but she definitely lacked something in the other ones. I think Randi is cute but needs to step it up or she'll get cut next. I LOVE Melissa, Jeanine and Kayla. I think Janette is a great dancer but something about her personality bothers me.
The only guy I'm even remotly interested in is Kupono. Although he's not as technically good as Brandon, he's interesting to watch and puts emotion in what he does. Brandon is a power house and technically amazing but I feel like his dancing is shallow. He doesn't make me feel anything. He's lucky to have had Janette as a partner because she's definitely brought the personality. We'll see what happens now.
I love Brandon (or Branden...?)!!! He's my favorite boy and my favorite girl is Kayla. Her legs are so long, and her lines are amazing. It makes for very pretty dancing.
I agree that Randi and Evan are next. They're cute and have good personalities but I think Randi dances very heavily. And by that I don't mean she's heavy, I mean she's always so low to the ground.
So, I'm upset because I just found out their tour is coming to Tallahassee and I won't be able to go. My wedding is the week before they'll be here and because I'm taking so much vacation for the wedding, I'll have to work. I'm so bummed. I was thinking of buying tickets just in case, but that's dumb because there's no way I'm getting it off. It would be so amazing to see them live.
I am so interested to see how they do with new partners this week; that will really show who has it and who doesn't...I think that sometimes one person in the partnership can carry the entire thing, and even if its awesome, when they get paired with a new person, it all goes awry!
Ok, just have to ask this one question because it bothers me EVERY week...does anyone else agree that Jeannette needs a hair cut...majorly? When she has her hair down normally (in the video packages, etc), it looks like a HELMET!!! I have hair that is straight like hers (and even a similar style) and I think that it would drive me nuts...I just want to go there and cut her hair! I know that has nothing to do with her dancing though...haha!
@KatieBug: I HATE Janette's hair! It's horrible. She would be so much prettier if she styled it differently or got a different cut.
@Go Noles: you hit the nail on the head about Randi. She does dance heavy. She doesn't have that quality of floating on air that Melissa and Kayla definitely have. And I think her hands sometimes look very unnatural. She makes it look more like a sport not a dance. I wonder if she has a dance team background. That could totally explain it.

@Meowkers Oh thank GOODNESS someone else is noticing this, I felt like I was Crazy Pants McGee for thinking this...I'm so particular about hair.
I'm pretty much obsessed with this show. My faves are Brandon, Kayla, and Jeanine, but honestly it could be anyone's game -- they're all so good this season! I kind of have a girl crush on Jeanine... she so pretty.
I started out SOO pro-brandon, and while I still think he is technically very good, I don't like what he does wiht his face when he dances, it bugs me.
Kaitlin always rocked her soloed and I think she's a great dancer, but the actual dances she did never wowed me.
Lovin on Melissa! But it'll be interesting to see how Ade does with a new partner.
Is it just me or are the guys less impressive this season than in past ones? (I love these guys I just dont think they'd hold up well against josh or pasha etc.)
Normally I dont like the girly girls, but I do like Randi's stage presence.
My favorites are Jeanine and Brandon! My dream would be them, partnered for an awesome Wade Robson or Mia Michaels piece. SO AMAZING.

Did she mean Evan and Jenine? Travis was on a few seasons ago (Heidi's cousin - park bench dance)... and I havent got a clue on natalie.

Now that we've got the Top 10 for SYTYCD, let's talk favorites and perhaps predictions.
I think Brandon (or does he spell it Branden)? is absolutely brilliant. I hope he goes far.
I think Ethan (the shortie with the brown hair with the blonde partner) gets a quite harsher criticism than he should from the judges.
As for girls, no one really does it for me. I think Jeanine (spelling?) is pretty good. The very tall blonde (why am I blanking tonight?) is also very good but she needs t step up her "dances for her life."
Of course I can talk all night about this, but I wanted to open the discussion.
