So you’re craving french fries at 10pm, but your waist deep in organizing your master bedroom because your nesting instinct has kicked into overdrive WAY too early in your pregnancy. When you mention this to your Darling Husband, does he:
a) Tell you it’s too late to eat
b) Ask if you want him to go to a fast food place
c) Go to the fast food place without asking
d) Surprise you by making you homemade french fries!
Well, it so happens my Darling Husband made me homemade french fries! I didn’t even know what he was up to until he brought in a plate of fries and some dipping ketchup. They were SOOOO good! I can’t believe how lucky I am!! (And so very satisfied! ::licks lips gratifyingly::)

Big ups to your man!
We threw a dinner party tonight and Mr. DG did all the fetching and glass refills etc. I just had to cook, sit and eat 🙂 I feel really lucky!

Yay for french fries!
I know my husband will indulge me because he does it now. He’s so good to me. But I also know because when his sister was pregnant, and her husband wouldn’t, he would do the late night Milk Dud runs for her!

Aww thats awesome!
I had a craving for “something nutty and chocolaty” not even something specific. Hubby was out the door in no time and came back with every combination of nuts and chocolate that Walgreens had…Moose munch, turtles, Peanut m&ms. It was so sweet.

That was very sweet of your husband – extra points for making homemade ones! I used to hate it when I’d wake up at midnight and want stuff, but couldn’t have it – it screws with your sleep.

What a sweetie!
Yesterday my husband and I were shopping around for a baby book. I saw this little stuffed owl and said, “Oh, how cute!” When I set it back on the shelf, he picked it back up and took it with us. And then this whole thing happened 3 more times! Every time I commented that something was so cute, he picked up and carried it with us. We got to the register and he even added a candy bar to our pile. 🙂 It was really cute.

Wow! How sweet of him!! Note to self: teach husband how to use fryer before getting pregnant (if my man tried to operate it now, he’d probably set the whole house on fire…).

What a fabulous husband and father-to-be! Lucky girl! I hope, when the time comes, my Fiance will do stuff like that for me! It seems the closer we get to the wedding, the more excited we both become about planning when to start TTC!
Also, funny story from when I worked at a grocery store: It was 5 minutes to close (which was at midnight) and this guy races through the front door as they’re locking them. He dashes to the frozen food aisle and comes out simply drowning under a pile of Toaster Strudel boxes. He drops them all on my register and I look at him perplexed. The man had well over 20 boxes of toaster strudel! When I asked him what they were all for (because, really, over 20 boxes?!) he replied, “My wife is pregnant and craving toaster strudel. She said not to come back without two boxes of every flavor I could find. Either I get them or I sleep on the couch tonight.” I am still not sure if he was joking about the sleeping on the couch or not…but it was funny then and still funny now.
