It’s located in Fallbrook, CA. And it’s Gorgeous. We were asked if our wedding could be featured on their blog.  http://grandtradition.com/blog/page/9/  Our names: Michele & Gabriel.

You should definatley check out this venue. Good Luck.

@DreamingofDiamonds:  Not married yet, but I’ll give you my two cents:

1) Winery in Temecula: a little out of the way if you have guests flying in, but a great option because vineyards are beautiful and hotels are reasonably priced.

2) Golf course in Palm Springs: a little boring since golf courses pretty much look the same everywhere, expensive to fly into, hotels are either really expensive or lower end.

3) Oceanfront hotel in San Diego: if it’s the Hotel Del, then yes yes yes! San Diego is so much larger and more convenient than the above two locations.

If you have any questions, PM me! SD is my first choice, Temecula is my second choice, and PS is my third choice.

We got married at UCI University Club in Irvine, CA. It’s on the campus, but it’s on the edge and it was nice and quiet. 🙂 It was very budget friendly, and was a good fit for us. Love the outdoors for the ceremony, and the reception hall looked great! They also really know what they’re doing there. Cindy is an amazing coordinator. She makes sure everything runs smoothly and was absolutely great to work with. 🙂

We chose Twin Oaks Garden Estate in San Marcos. I had originally had my heart set on a modern indoor space or maybe a concer venue or theater but one of my bridesmids had mentioned how much she liked Twin Oaks as a possible venue for herself so I started looking into it and I really fell in love with it. I loved how the grounds looked at night and when I looked at the ceremony site I could totally see myself walking down the aisle on my wedding day. I was also a big fan of the price! It was much cheaper than most of the other places we had considered and the amount of amenities that came with even the most basic package made choosing Twin Oaks a no-brainer.

Hyatt Regency in Palm Springs, it was amazing & very affordable.  Unfortunately, they no longer have a restaraunt.

Palm Springs is quite a bargain, actually.  You just wouldn’t want to do a summer wedding here.

David Tutera did one in La Quinta, which is near PS.

The airport has added a lot of flights & it’s a very pleasant one & easy to navigate.

@DreamingofDiamonds:  The venue provides unlimited soft drinks, a coffee bar, and Martinelli’s for the toast but alcohol is BYOB and you still pay a bartender fee. $750 for beer and wine on a Saturday and $650 for beer and wine on a Friday or Sunday. If you want a signature drink add $100, for full bar add another $550. We are getting married in the off season so they came down in price on a couple areas for us including the bar fee so I would ask about that if you sit down with one of their planners.

We are getting married at Wiens in Temecula in a couple weeks.

The venue is beautiful, but their service is absolutely AMAZING!! Jaime (their events coordinator) and Christine (our planner) are the most helpful people I have ever met in the wedding industry.

The prices are great, I would easily pay double what they quoted us, and it would still be a bargain.

We got married at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in Claremont. It was really pretty.  We wanted something completely outdoors and ceremony/reception at the same location.  They work exclusively with one company who had really good packages that included food, bar, rentals, and decor.  This is my recap if you wanted to check it out.

@DreamingofDiamonds:  Wiens and Ponte were our final choices. We said “I love you” for the first time at Ponte, so it is really special to us. But in the end, I kind of feel like Ponte is a wedding factory. They do so many and have a set way that they like to do things. However, Wiens has been willing to completely personalize our wedding to us in any way we ask. With the exception of no pyrotechnics for FI’s entrance (thank goodness!), they have done everything we’ve asked.

Ponte would be a beautiful wedding, no doubt though
