No dress yet, just beginning wedding planning and considering Earl Miller Burns Japanese Gardens. How about you? Where are you in wedding planning?

we’re having our formal wedding at a park in Apple Valley (It’s not far from Big Bear which has been in the news recently.)

Hey So. cal bride here. I’m already married but I know exactly where Temecula Creek Inn is. It’s a gorgeous place. I got married at The Grand Tradition Estate in Fallbrook, Ca.

@eraff32:  I’m a So. Cal. bride! We just picked our venue this past weekend. It’s a yacht called the Athena in Newport Harbor. This was our first step. I haven’t looked at dresses yet but we picked navy blue and coral for our wedding colors.

@Hyperventilate:  I was almost in Big Bear that week! My FI and I were going to take a trip but changed our plans at the last min. Thank goodness! That’s a beautiful area though. Which park in Apple Valley? You’re going to have some amazing pictures.

@KittyCatToe:  My hometown is 5 minutes away from Big Bear. I spent a lot of time there as a kid — the place is gorgeous.

Mojave Narrows is where we’ll be. Lots of opportunities for photos there!

@eraff32:  Both my husband and I were born and raised in California. When my husband joined the Navy, he was stationed out here in Oklahoma. After we reconnected and I wanted to move in with him, we really didn’t have much choice. He couldn’t come to me, so I went to him!

We got married before he deployed in December and we’re having our formal wedding back home in June with everyone who was unable to be with us. I’d move back to California in a heartbeat for the sceneary. Oklahoma is too flat for my tastes when I was raised cuddled up next to Big Bear. Oklahoma has a much better economy, out here. It’s nice seeing stores open and stay open and people getting hired for a change.
