Been reading some posts on opinions about different social/political issues, and was just curious what we’re working with here at the Bee. How would you describe yourself?
(ps whatever happens, no arguing, it’s all love, any beliefs are acceptable and will be tolerated!:))

I’m a moderate, unconventional-ish, spiritual-ish Democrat living in nation’s capital.
I fit right in lol
Conservative, somewhere between traditional and non-traditional, religious – living near the nation’s capital. I don’t fit in at all, and that’s ok, hahaha.
Liberal, non-traditional, Democrat, athiest, living in one of the most liberal places in the country.
@chillinchillin: It really depends. The Democratic party would be seen as quite conservative and not moderate or liberal here.
Not sure. I’m non-traditional as a person but conservative politically. It’s a mixed bag where I live.
I was confused in what context traditional means to a liberal atheist. But my wardrobe is all brooks and j.crew. So traditional it is.
Moderate registered as a Democrat, somewhere between traditional and not, I am technically a member of an organized religion but I consider myself more spiritual, and I live in Texas. Although San Antonio seems to be getting more and more blue.
liberal/democrat athiest, I guess mix of traditional/non traditional. I have moved around a lot in the last few years but currently live in Texas, so I’ll just say I’m glad I never ended up putting a Darwin fish and Flying Spaghetti Monster emblems on my car!

@chillinchillin: I am religious and moderate, leaning slightly to the right. I think for myself on every issue which alienates me from people with traditional views on both sides. Conservatives judge me for being pro-choice, and liberals judge me because I can’t stand the Clintons or President Obama.
I would say I’m a moderately-traditional, mostly-liberal Democrat living in a liberal place.
Your options are a tad difficult for us UK Bees where Liberal means something quite different and where our political choices are neither Democrat nor Republican!
However, as an unconventional, left-wing Champagne Socialist who follows the pagan path and lives in an area so liberal and laid back that is nearly falls over, I’ve done my best!
If I were fortunate enough to live in the US I would, for sure, be an unconventional liberal who voted Democrat and, ideally, lived in Portland, OR!
@Steampunkbride: They are scarily different!
I’d classify myself as conservative, non-religious, although I’m more liberal on social issues. I’d find it quite difficult to vote in the US, I think.
I’m liberal, non-religious-but spiritual, and having grown up with a traditional father and a non-traditional mother, i think its safe to say I sit somewhere in between.
@MrsSancerre: Agreed! In fact the very definition of Liberal across the two countries are basically contradictory!
