Both the restaurants for my rehearsal and reception only included tea and coffe with the meal. Sodas were charged based on consumption, but it included free refills.
Our reception hall is also providing only water, tea and coffee. We have to provide the liquor and sodas.

Its all included in mine- even the rehearsal dinner at a restaurant included soda, coffee and tea- just liquor is extra. Its basically their way of showing a lower cost, and getting their money in the end, because who isn't going to pay for soda for their guests.
That is odd. Soda is included in the package with my caterer for the wedding as well as with our rehearsal dinner.
yah its not included in mine, so basically if i have 2 hour open bar, it will be included of course but once thats over, guest will have to pay $3 for each soda

Hmm, yeah, that's weird to me. All the catering packages I looked at, soda, coffe and tea were all always included. Just the alcohol packages were extra.

So I learned that our venue is only providing tea and coffee with the meal and for soda, it will be $3 based on consumption. i feel like it just keeps adding up, all these little things
is this typical? i would think they would say for example 3 per person or something?
