Can that combination work so long as the mattress is the same size as the futon frame? I just realized I bought a mattress alone instead of the intended sofa bed combo online. Which is fine. I can get a futon frame for cheap. But I had no idea if the sofa bed mattress would work on a typical futon frame. Oh, and the mattress is 4.5" thick but made of memory foam.
