I cried over the dumbest things – as you noted, it is very stressful!  I think I drove my FI nuts.  Sometimes I didn’t even know what I was crying about.

If your FI is so concerned over timing, is he taking an adequate role in the planning?  If its a big deal to him, he should be taking a big part and not just being critical if things aren’t done to his specification.  Hopefully he’s more supportive than critical.

Good luck with planning!

Even though I really enjoyed planning my wedding (to the point that I still miss it), I definitely had some meltdowns too. It sort of seems to come with the territory, so don’t be too hard on yourself. It sounds like your fiancé has a Type A personality so maybe you should put that to use; I mean, if he keeps harping about this or that not being done, just let him do it! I thought I wanted control over every single little thing but ended up having to delegate some tasks out of pure necessity, and I’m pretty sure that’s what saved my sanity. Haha! Hang in there–you’re doing fine.

@prahajess:  Sorry to didn’t get any replies right away (I know how that feels) lol.

I have been pretty mellow during my planning as well but I have had my moments (one big one where there were tears lol)

Days like that will happen but just keep your focus on the real reason for the wedding 🙂 We all have these days. It is just part of the process!

Hope you find a beautiful ring that you love… Sometimes fancy shops have unique and inexpensive options so maybe you should give it a try 🙂 At least get an idea of what you want or don’t want.
