So…I bought a sample Pronovias Ocelada dress and I LOVE her. We’re getting married in Las Vegas, though, and I was not about to take my big ball gown out on the strip after our reception, so I bought a party dress from Nordstrom. All was good and I was happy.
Weeeellll…then I found the Maggie Sottero Cleo while surfing the internet and kind of had a mini-heart attack. The 2 things my dress doesn’t have it does – pleating and a corset back. After deliberating for a long time, a brand new Cleo in the color I wanted (alabaster) and the size I need (14) popped up on ebay for cheap! I was suspect at first, but I won the auction and the total with shipping came out to ~$220. I should be here tomorrow! OMG bees, I can’t wait to try her on. I think she’s going to be my reception dress. I will post pics tomorrow night or Saturday eeek.

Now that you’ve got three dresses, it might be wise to stop searching dresses online, or else you will end up with four dresses. No matter how many dresses you have or what they are, there is always something cuter, prettier, or fancier than your dresses. You will always find more dresses that catch your eye, and if you’ve already bought three, that fourth is going to be hard to resist too.

@Horseradish: lol i agree.
maybe nordstrom will let you return the one from there since you don’t seem as in love with it?

@li612: I love my Nordstrom dress because it’s not really a wedding dress, like my other two, so I don’t really want to return it.
Even with all three dresses, my total is $1300, so I’m not feeling guilty or anything. I’m actually really excited because I get to wear every style I want on my wedding day: princess ball gown with lace for ceremony, satin corset back for reception, and Great-Gatsby style gown for our night out on the town. I’m not in the market for any more dresses, oh trust me! lol.
I will definitely take pictures once it arrives!
