So, my Fiance and I are LDR so we do strange things like facetime eachother while we use the bathroom lol Well the other day I was in the bathroom and I was showing Fiance something (dont ask lol) and my iphone ends up dropping in the toilet!!!!!!!!!! I can actually still see his face at the bottom!!! lol I quickly reach in and pull him out and start drying the phone and then he cuts off… :- but then I call him back…AND IT WORKS!!!!!! well, kinda. I can see him but cant hear him and whenever I put up the volume it says it is in headphones mode. I google how to get rid of it and they say to blow through the whole lol.. I blow and water ends up coming through the other side (where it charges).. and THEN IT WORKS!!!!!! like 100%! I droped my phone in the potty and it works! LMFAO!

Lol, this story just made my morning! I’m so glad it had a happy ending because I would feel infinitely worse laughing if your phone got damaged from its swim in the toilet.

LOL. Also, you might want to put the phone in a bag of rice for a day or two, just in case! Thr rice will soak up any leftover water that’s inside of it.

If you start having problems with it, put it in a bowl of rice overnight. It soaks up all the moisture.
And I don’t want to know what in the heck you were doing when that happened…….. lol!

HAHA, so glad your phone works…
this reminds me of my friend… who dropped his phone in the toilet also, at work.. in a toilet with an automatic flush. Can you see where this is going?? HAHA… He went to reach for it since it had already flushed and was clean… and it triggered and flushed again and he watched it get flushed away..

I did this too – well not the toilet but I was using it at night and I dropped it in a glass of water on my bedside table!!!!
I recommend turning it off and letting it sit in rice for 24 hours. This will dry all the internal mechanical bits. If you don’t do this some of the internal bits may get shorted by the water!
