I had my rings soldered together, but it was after the ceremony. The store I went to had in-house jewlery repair/ work; they were able to do it the same day that I dropped it off. The only reason I didn't do it before the ceremony was because I didn't want to wear both together before our wedding day.
yep... here's a link to a bee that had hers soldered prior to the big day =)

We picked out our rings last night ....yeah!!! But sorry, no pics at this time. Anyways, my wedding band has a prong setting of diamonds across the top and my e-ring is a solitare. I was worried about the bands spinning in differant directions and the jeweler mentioned soldering my bands together prior to the ceremony. I kind of like the idea since I am very sentimental and dont want to give up my ring for any amount of time to have it done after the wedding. I am just wondering if anyone else has done this?
