I don’t have a solitaire (I have four marquise cut diamonds on either side of my center stone) but I can tell you that soldering definitely helps with the spinning. I have the same problem (I have to get a size 5 for my knuckles even thought my finger is closer to a 4.5). It will still spin but not as much due to the weight of the rings (I have two wedding bands and my rings are heavy overall). Hope that helps. Good luck.

GonnaBeMrsG:  this is mine.  Just a simple band, it was the matching set.  I don’t regret it at all, but then again I never take my ring off.  I love having them together.  I did wear them for a bit unsoldered and it drove me nuts.  Having them soldered helped the ering from spinning.

I soldered both. But a word of caution, mine actually came apart because I wash my hands so much and am pretty rough with my rings in general (that’s probably why my husband had it made so thick and heavy haha).

GonnaBeMrsG:  Thank you!  For me, I let my ering do the talking.  I didn’t want a fancy band to take away.  It also just isn’t me, I love very simple jewelry.
