Soldering rose gold with white gold? Help!

msformaldehyde:  honestly i dont think you would be able to get your Ering replated if you did that or you would have to have the whole thing replayed .. I could be wrong though I would really check into it before you solder them if you have done it already check with jeweler they might just take them apart replate your Ering then solder them together not sure if that would be huge hassle for you but i believe you only need to replate white gold maybe once a year or twice a year good luck hope i helped you in someway

I looked in to having mine done but the lady at the jewellery store made it sound like such a pain. They have to seperare them whenever you want to re dip and then put them back which makes it pricier. I ultimately decided to keep them separate and im glad I did, I love just wearing my band alone 🙂

  • That doesn’t make sense. How would you dip a two tone ring, like many of the verragios?? I’m pretty sure jewelers are able to coat the rose gold with something so it doesn’t get rhodiom on it.
