First thing: I’m getting married Saturday, yay!!!!
I had always planned on going to a nail salon and getting a acrylic or gel french manicure, something basic. I truly don’t know bc,as crazy as it sounds,I’ve never gotten a manicure/had nails. I was recently moved to a different position at my job and having nails is absolutely NOT practical,so I decided to try some store glue on nails (i can just rip them off in a couple days when i get annoyed enough haha)Great, the glue ons are wonderful….. except the faux french manicure ones. You can see the air bubbles from the glue, you can see the white tip of my nail through. It looked crazy so I bit off the length (I know, whatever lol) and tried again. Now the nail is too short and there’s a gap between the end of my nail and the begining of the white tip of the fake nail. Lol
I’m really not even upset about this bc i knew it was going to happen(playing with fake nails as a preteen lol). Has anyone ever wore a solid color nail too their wedding? I just cannot find any pictures, crazy as it sounds. My dress is champagne colored and I’m also getting henna on the hands/wrists. I’m not sure what color I would get that wouldn’t just look distracting. (My wedding colors are darkish, except gold but i think thats too much) Any suggestions?

JerNCher: A blush pink would look nice, and is classic. I wouldn’t go dark personally, I think it would stand out too much against your dress.
A rose gold would be pretty as well.

I wouldn’t go dark. I’d choose a more neutral colour. I got a gel manicure for my wedding and one nail broke and chipped!! Thankfully, my nails were neutral so it wasn’t too obvious in photos. If I had dark nails and that had happened, it would be painfully obvious in photos.

A gel manicure will be the same as your nails so they shouldn’t be a problem for you at work. The professionals at the salon will be able to help you with whatever you fancy. If it’s within your budget then I would definitely recommend it!
There are so many great nail options. I love the idea of rose gold, and you could also do a champagne glitter nail if you want a solid option. That would be versatile and SO pretty. The other benefit to gel nails is that they are dry and flawless as soon as you’re done at the salon.

I think it’ll look nice:) but I’m also toying with a “nude” look, which is always hard to find for me.but, thanks sgain

Samoan Sand by OPI is a lovely nude that’s a tiny bit sheer.
Rage by Orly is a lovely rose gold/champagne metallic foil shade (albeit unfortunately named).
Edited to add:
I think a sponged on gradient from Rose gold metallic at the base to nude at the tips would be stunning. (like that half moon shape at the cuticle, not half a nail)
