Sorry OP, I meant to post pics a while ago, LOL. Here are a couple. I actually think solitaire enhancers can make a solitaire ring look brand new! I love them (and was obsessed with them at one point! LOL. Also, you can wear gemstone rings and other rhrs with enhancers and wraps. They’re very versatile…if only more ppl knew about them!

You can literally put any shape and size solitaire into a wrap or enhancer. The openings come rounded or v shaped or straight…any shape that will fit most cuts. Here’s another one I found that I love too that’s white gold with an emerald cut halo and a white gold enhancer!

They even have wraps with 2 diamonds or 4 diamonds to make your set look like a 3 or 5 stone ring. Enhancers/wraps make your set so much more versatile. I never thought of getting one until I tried one on, so I hope more bees try on some beautiful ones. Zales and some of the mall jewelers have more of a selection of enhancers/wraps (also called ring guards). I would look there even if you don’t purchase it, just to get a feel of what it would look like. Hope this helps in some way! 🙂

@Payless: Mine is more of a wrap because it is two bands that we had made and then connected at the base.  My ring isn’t purely a solitaire either as it has side stones and details, but since not many others will contribute, I will 🙂

@blushbliss:  I love your set! It’s so beautiful!

@Payless:  I do not  have a wrap, and DH and I most certainly are not in any type of financial position for me to be considering adding diamonds any time soon.  However, just for fun, I’ve wondered what my ring would look like if I — theoretically — could “wrap” the entire thing in a halo or pave.

I actually had a chance to see something like that when I visited my ring designer’s website (Christopher Designs) a few months ago and happened to see a ring that reminds me of my ring, only with each of the three stones outlined in smaller, round diamonds.

My e-ring:

The newer Christopher Designs design that looks a bit like my ring but with a halo/outline of round diamonds:

@Payless:  mine are soldered.  They would not stay together otherwise!!

@Payless:  mine are not soldered. my ring fits in pretty snugly so there was no need for me to do so. if it was one sided I probably would have done it

ETA: no issues not soldering it 1+ year later.
