it's cute. are you going to ask your guests to take the markers out so the wait staff can see the markers easily?
I think they are uber cute! How are they going to be displayed to the waitstaff?
The illustrations will be printed on little sheets of paper and stuffed in the little paper bags. The guests will take them out and display at their place setting I'm going to have my DJ make a reminder annoucement for guests after they are seated.

We are having 3 meal options at our served dinner reception. We have to provide a meal marker so the wait staff knows who is having what. I thought that it would be good to include the markers with the guest escort cards, so I came up with the idea of having them inserted into these little envelopes.
Our theme is vintage-rustic, so I think animal illustrations for steak, chicken and salmon will work well.
