PrncssDva thanks and I think we are going to wait on painting the rest until spring! But I have been wanting to paint the master bathroom, so I might try and do that next if it gets warmer again!! Kinda tired of painting right now, but we are so glad we did what we did before we moved in!!

@missmouse29: we used the same colors in the dining room and entry way, but the rest were in the same family of colors!
@iHeartTwinkies: they both seem to somehow find their way into pictures...I never see them until I've already taken it:)
@caszos: we love the fireplace also, we have yet to use it, but I'm thinking it might not be that long before we do! I've never had a fireplace, so I'm so excited that we finally have someplace to hang our stockings:)

@Kanebaby: my mom and dad actually gave us the bed, it was theirs and they were moving into a smaller house and had no room for it, so we got it. I think they actually bought it from Nebraska Furniture Mart about 8 years ago. And not only does it have drawers at the foot of the bed, but on both side of the bed as well and on each side it has little doors in which you can store stuff under the bed too! We love it!! I do have to use a step stool to get into bed though:)
The brighter colors aren't for me, but they look quite charming in your home. You definitely made it your own. All of the decor matches the colors nicely! It looks cozy. Great job!

Here are some before and after pictures of our new home!! Which seemed like an eternity to get, but I guess once the process started it wasn't that long! We are finally moved in and everything is in its place, except a couple of boxes that I just don't know what to do with!! The house was a bit blah before, and my DH and I decided to warm it up a little! Here you go: picture of our house and before and after pics of the front room!
