The vid was awesome, I'm glad you guys liked it too. Everytime I see the video I posted yesterday or see these pics, I feel like maybe I did have a good time at my wedding and I just don't remember it? Or am I good at faking? Hmmmm. I am glad they turned out well and I overrode my husband on both of these vendors. Worth every dang ol penny.

Getting Ready:

Ceremony: (Thats my "spiritual father" walking me down the aisle, as my father decided to dip out and leave town the night before the wedding)

Reception: (We skipped alot of this because it was overwhelming- we left to the bar upstairs and took walks in the garden.. hence no pics of us really)

@ Pinkb- I got the bolero from Etsy seller Rohm. She was amazing. The bolero was too big when I got it and it had to be taken in. It was a HUGE splurge. Totally worth it though. Here is the link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/54026074/the-lacey-bridal-shrug-white-or-ivory

@ daydreamwanderer- YES! I am having huge problems uploading these pics. It took about an hour after I sent the post before it appeared on the boards. Also, I am unable to add any more pics. I tried to add more in several ways but they just don't load up. I keep getting a "You actualy need to add some content!" error? But it's ok. I overloaded the pics.. ha

@summerbride12- Thank you! The dress actually had a silver sash, with no bow or tails, but I had it removed and brought the dress store new fabric. They made this sash and they took the beading off and hand stitched it all back on. The bow in the back turned out perfect.

Did anyone else with a train carry it around like I did all day, over my arm? Once I got the bustle in it didn't matter so much, but I thought it was funny. Lots of the non professional pics show my slip :p

@ChantellyLace- I knew that if we did the first look it would make me feel good, being able to see him for a few moments before the wedding. I had tons of emotionals running through me and I won't ever regret doing that first look! Our fam was liek OMG YOU CANT DO THAT, but he helped up decorate that morning, so I saw him alot before the wedding. I absolutely love the pic of our faces when he turned around.

And my dress is a Jacqueline dress. I think it's a private label? When I bought the dress, at an outlet store, they told me it was by "House of Wu" but when I found it online, it's by Jacquelin. I never heard of those people!

I have to tell you something.

I saw this post before your earlier posts, and I looked at your pictures before I read a word. (I'm kind of a picture whore.)

Well, the truth is, as I looked at your pictures, with no knowledge whatsoever of your wedding day situation, I thought you looked truly beautiful, truly joyous, and there was so much love between you and your husband, as well as your family and friends present. I loved the details, and I didn't even notice the lack of bouts.

And, of course, when I was done reading everything I had big tears in my eyes.  I'm so sorry that your wedding day was not only not what you planned, but also pretty traumatic.

There's no rule that says you can't get married again.  Why don't you plan a very intimate ceremony with you and your husband and your closest people and have something extremely informal but very meaningful?

@Eurekaanchovies- That was so sweet it gave ME tears in my eyes! I think during the wedding I wasn't thinking of my dad that much, but I was more overwhelmed with the entire wedding day thing. I stopped worrying about my dad as soon as I put my makeup on and the photographer showed up (she really did cheer me up ALOT, she was at the front end of my happiness). The wedding it's self was overwhelming, annoying, and I was so uincomfortable in my dress (ate too much). So even though I wasn't thoroughly enjoying myself, I was still happy that I was married, and I wasn't completely focused on my dad-situation. I am so glad that those two things didn't come across on my video or photo's because seeing those is making me remember the good things and not feel so bad about the things that went wrong. Its such a weird spot to be in!

@Nimiele:  Every wedding has its issues, and some are more painful than others.  It sounds like you're beginning to find your peace with your wedding, and that's good.  Just remember:  your wedding was just your wedding.  It's not your marriage.
