It looks beautiful.. the bouquets are amazing!! And that sky!! oh my gosh gorgeous!
The sunsets are just as beautiful as you hear they are, but even better in person.
We also enjoyed Cuban food for the first time...love it! Had lunch one day at El Meson de Pepe near Mallory Square and it was awesome! I am seriously investing time and effort into learning how to cook Cuban cuisine!
Will upload some more here later on this weekend. Really busy right now (on call) and cleaning up the house. Organizing things in the house is the one thing not fun about being a newlywed. Takes so much time.
Our wedding planner, Nika of Soiree Key West did a fabulous job with the teeny ceremony and its' touches. I recommend her highly.
Instead of getting a wedding cake in Key West, we bought a tasty Key Lime pie from the Blonde Giraffe! Yummy is too mild a word to describe it.
You looked amazing! Loved your bouquet Congrats girl!
Thanks everybody
Just trying to relax a bit around here..been working on cropping the pics and getting them ready to be printed (ones I took and ones guests took).
There are about a million of them it seems...my hands are already tired from working on it today.
Here's a few more. My son actually was snorkeling off the beach in Bahia Honda (nearby, about 30 miles from KW) and found this conch.
Here's Bahia Honda beach:

After we landed in Miami, we got our rental car and drove down to the keys...but along the way we stopped by the Everglades National Park near Homestead, FL and walked the Anhika trail! We got terribly up close and personal with a few gators, which were only a foot or two away. The cranky crocs, which were too close for my comfort, were actually growling at us...but they swam into the water and I got a good pic of that fella (about 6 feet long) as he took off into the pond.
Everglades National Park...what I call the "gator pond". Next was the growling gator which made me a bit antsy.
I was wondering what happened to you and to be honest, getting a wee bit worried. So glad to find out you were merely busy busy busy! Looks like you had a grand time and you look so beautiful! Can't wait for the pro pics! So glad you're back! I am jealous about that Key Lime Pie!
Oh do I have more bodacious key lime pie pics...
Here are some photos taken from Blue Heaven, featured on Oprah recently, and chosen by Yahoo as the #1 place to eat in the country..right there in Key West!
You walk into a beautiful garden/island atmosphere, and it is every bit as decadent as it's logo, "sin on a fork"!

Finding our way to our table at Blue Heaven
Look at that pie! Now that is Key Lime Pie at its' finest!

Drool-worthy and without calorie-regrets~

Oh Belle, congratulations! You look lovely & it looked like a wonderful day! All the best to you & your new family!
Congrats! and Welcome Back! Looks like you had beautiful weather and a beautiful backdrop for your wedding! Love the cake and your boquet!
Thanks! The wedding is actually broken up into two segments. First, is the wedding which took place on July 31, and then the reception, which took place on August 6, (in Georgia) after we returned from Key West!
Our cake was freakin' fabulous! I love Creations Bakery! It tasted so amazing..was both vanilla (one layer) and chocolate (another on the cake and dusted them with glittery and edible sugar in hot pink and green.
For our guests, Creations made hand-made artisan chocolates (also white) with the irridescent clear edible glitter on them, placed them in glassine bags, and sealed them with our monogram. I can't wait to show those pics off (will be pro pics)! Some children at the reception couldn't wait to leave and enjoy the favor, so they ripped open the favor bags and stuffed them in their mouths..they had white chocolate all over their faces.
Here's one more my bff snapped at the reception, the lighting was actually a bit dimmer, and you could see the candles a bit more...

(from the Aug. 6 GA reception)
Seriously, I am drooling over your shell bouquet & bouts! They are absolutely gorgeous. Your cake is also, very drool worthy. It really sounds like you had such a wonderful time.
Congratulations Mrs.Belle! What a beautiful and uniquet bouquet, I love it. And those are some amazing sunsets. Thanks for sharing the photos.
I'm drooling over that key lime pie. If there ain't any key lime pie in heaven, I ain't going! Did you wear the same dress for the wedding and the honeymoon? You looked amazing!
Thanks! It's a short dress by Calvin Klein!
It's so cute, I can wear it again later on at a vow renewal. Not a traditional wedding dress, but it's me! Perfect for me being an encore bride!
I can't wait to get the pro pics from the GA reception...my friendor, Kasey Currie, did all the flowers and you all have to see the large arrangement she did and some of the table arrangements up close.
She even wired into the arrangement shells too! She brought a bit of the tropics home to GA with us! If you're an ATL bride, check her out! I can't recommend her enough. She really "gets" flowers.
I know it's a stretch (you can see it in the pro pics she took), but in the mirrored area on the fireplace mantle in the reception pic, you can barely make out the "T and J" mossy letters I made! They're flanked by oodles of candles, two large candelabras, and some pink gerbera daisies in glass bottles all over the place!
Congratulations, Mrs. Belle! You look absolutely radiant in these photos. I love your bouquet and am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your first taste of Cuban cuisine! :o)

I will soon do the recaps...and will begin with the trip in a few days. Still don't have pro pics back as of yet, but can say that it was WONDERFUL :) Things have been super busy around here as we're attempting to settle in and because my son recently started a new school.
And yes, I'm Mrs. Belle now. Can't believe it's almost been a whole month as a Mrs.! Will be back here as usual quite soon :)
Key West was amazing...so much that I'm already planning and working towards our next adventure but wish to go further into the carribbean! I am seriously now daydreaming about Belize!
So far, being a newlywed is great! We're just taking it easy, went to the mountains last weekend (Big Canoe, stayed in a villa which was a wedding gift) and enjoyed some hiking. We're planning a mini-vacation next weekend, but we're deciding where to go for Labor Day (either Savannah or Chattanooga).
Here's a few of us:
*first here we are at the reception cutting the cake...it was so delicious (made by Creations Bakery in Cumming, GA)
and a few unrelated photos...
The bouquet n bouts the night before the wedding. The one matching my bouquet is T's, the one with the green touches is my son's bout. I placed a sterling angel charm on the bouquet in memory of my grandparents and father, whom I know were with us on that beautiful day.
and some gorgeous Key West sunsets taken from our snorke/dive boat!
*yes, those sunsets are REAL!!! It was amazing. I absolutely love to snorkel/dive and hope that we can do more of this soon. We went about 8 miles out, to Rock Key dive area.
