does this count as bangs in your face even if it’s off to the side and longer? almost like a layer rather than a bang?

What about layers? So it would be curly while still being easy to maintain!

no matter what i think some face framing layerslayers in general would give you some movement and bounce and would be easy to style since it really gives you a messy style all on its own.  A medium length would work best IMO. I like the first photo I posted best (heidi klum) but if the bang is a no go for you then this one is my second choice 🙂

This is one of my favorite styles! It looks like you can totally pull it off, because it seems your hair is wavy. Mine are straight, and when I got this length cut, I had to curl it to make it look similar to this. But I just love this style. So easy, and so easy going! Just step out of the shower, scrunch up some mousse in your hair, towel or slightly blow dry, and basically you#re goot to go! The length is still good enough to tie your hair back in a ponytail.
