Friends of ours used the theme from The Price is Right. It was great and unexpected. Mr. and Mrs. Bee come ooooooooon down!!!
I've heard of people getting famous sports announcers (Harry the K here in Philly) to pre-record the names of bridal party members for the introductions. I LOVE the idea of something different and fun to start the party!

Oh, I wish I could talk you out of it... but I CAN'T! Because it's TOO CUTE! Go for it! I think anything that brings a smile to your face should be fair game on your big day!
I absolutely love it! What an adorable idea!! If your friends and family are fun and silly (or have enjoyed the cocktail hour enough ;) ) they should really get a nostalgic kick out of it.
El Cap, I love the Price is Right idea! I used to watch that every day after kindergarten with my grandma (who won't be able to be at our wedding - she's 90 years old and can't travel), so I might borrow that idea and use it in honor of her!
I'm thinking the MC could say something similar to "You're the next contestant on the Price is Right" that's more wedding-y... like, "You're the next attendendant on..." something. Not sure what. :)

Have we lost our minds??
We want to introduce our bridal party into the reception to the theme of The Muppet Show from the early 80's. So in the beginning where is says "Its The Muppet Show with Special Guests Mr and Mrs (my new last name)." Then the music starts and the bridal party is introduced...
If you forget the theme song, please look it up on youtube or something and tell me I am insane!
