EW! Mean people suck. I'm so sorry that happend. :(
I am so sorry to hear this! Someone rammed into my brothers car the other day while it was parked (who speeds down an icy curvy hill?) but their car was so messed up they couldn't leave the scene even if they wanted to. You'd be surprised how many people hit and run though...
I'm so sorry! I've been in the same situation, where someone hit my car when it was parked. I've also had my car broken into (window broken, stereo stolen) three times - it's such a horrible feeling, to know that someone could be that big of a jerk.
That totally blows.
Keep thinking to yourself "Karma, Karma, Karma". Whoever it was will get what is coming to them.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm glad that he wasn't hurt at least. I thnk it's totally lame that someone would do that without taking responsibility for it.
That really sucks. I'm so sorry someone would do that. I'm glad he's okay.
I'm so sorry to hear that! People are so selfish. I'm glad that your FI is okay, but I would be upset too.
Last year, someone hit the Prius R and I share while it was parked. They left a note with a phone number we later realized was fake. We think they just left the note because someone was watching... how wonderfully moral, right?
that sucks...this happened to me once where someone backed into my car...they left a note, but unfortunately I didn't see any damage at the time cuz the car was dirty and snow covered...I didn't notice the huge dent until the car was washed about aweek later, by that time I had already disposed of the persons contact info so nothing could be done. Fortunately my car was a on its last leg any way..
That f'ing sux! that happened to my friend. Someone hit her car on the driver side while it was parked outside her moms house. We came out to see her daughters booster seat was flipped over in the front passenger seat of her car. When we went around to the other side....it was smashed. I hate it when people do sutff like that. I mean give people enough respect to contact them or leave a note with your info or something.
Oh my gosh, that's horrifying! You're the second "hit and run" that I've heard of this week that has had some substantial damage. That totally stinks, but I'm glad he's okay!
Thanks, guys. I'm feeling somewhat better about it now. I still am confused how someone could just drive away and not even say "sorry, I hit your car." I think I would have been more okay with the situation if that happened.
Thank goodness for insurance!
I'm so sorry that happened. Once when my husband was at work, a woman practically drove over the front half of his car. It looked like she was going to just leave without doing anything but luckily one of his coworkers was in the lot fixing his car so he saw it all.
I'm glad that your BF is alright. Sounds like you have full coverage too so you can get it fixed for not a lot of money.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I came to post here, so my sweetie doesn't feel any worse. He was driving my car last night and someone hit it when it was parked. Not enough for him to notice when he got in at first, but then the hood flew up while he was driving and cracked the windshield.
I am thankful that he wasn't hurt, but I am majorly upset that someone would hit the car and not even leave a note that says, "hey, I hit your car." The damage was pretty obvious too, when looking at the front of the car (not at all from the side though). My sweetie didn't even notice until he got into the car and started driving.
People are so selfish. I mean, it's not really the car that bothers me since we have insurance, but rather that someone could just drive away. He could have died or killed someone when the hood went up. :(
He is really sorry even though it's not his fault. I am trying not to make him feel bad, but all I want to do is cry. This is THE WORST possible timing for something like this.
