Maybe you're supposed to wear them in a dimly lit club so you can look like you're wearing sexy thigh highs, but at the same time be comfortable enough to dance all night. LOL
I sincerely hope they are just uggs with someone wearing latex thigh highs. The lack of fashion style some days worry me...

HAHA okay, at the risk of making myself seem like a slut I will post a photo of me in my pleather thigh highs! A girlfriend of mine bet me that I could not wear pleather thigh highs in public without being mistaken for a "lady of the night". Well, I paired them with booty shorts and a turtleneck. I sure did get a lot of attention that night, but I truly don't think I looked like a prostitute. (I respect if you may disagree with that one!) Racy for sure. If you have not yet worn thigh highs, GO GET YOURSELF A PAIR. They are cheap and SO much fun to wear. Definitely an experience. Plus, FI loves them. ;) (dont mind random girl I'm straddling in photo!) **side note, I probably only wear them like once a year. Its a clubbing type of thing....IF NOTHING ELSE, I HOPE I COULD PROVIDE YOU WTH SOME LAUGHS. Nonetheless, I feel that those boots you posted (though ugly) are rock-able!!! I really do! I smell another challenge!

@Virginiamarie...I tend to agree ugly, but I have a feeling that are people that could totally pull off wearing them. Glad you accepted the challenge, your outfit is adorable AND you totally pull it off
LOL at the photo =]. I saw thigh highs a lot in Europe. People were wearing them with jeans. That definitely looks like a clubbing outfit to me, but not prostitutey. Maybe if you wore a short minidress in red, it would lol. They're getting popular with celebs anyways.
And those ugg leather thingies are hideous. Then again, i was recently boot shopping and I saw a LOT of weirdo looking boots that made me wonder what crazy lady would buying these
Those are hideous! I can stand normal ones but this mix of ugg and thigh high is disturbing... its like there was an accident in the factory.
Those are bad. It is only a matter of time until some girl stuffs the legs of her sweatpants into them.
