Come over and remove all sugar from my household. I have literally been living on icing, cookies, ice cream, chocolate…you name it…for 2 days. I feel like a slug. HELP!!
I am running a 5K this weekend and I’ve been training extra hard so it’s hard not to say NO to the deliciousness of junk food…..YUM. Those 80 pounds I lost are threatening to come back! haha.

No, I still live with my parents and my entire family is overweight. Actually, I am the only one in my family who is fit. I have the hardest life ever, lol.

I feel your pain… FILs bought me 12 boxes of peeps for Easter. YES, 12!!!! I live far from my family right now so they always tell me they feel a responsibility to “take care of me”. In FH’s family… food=care!
Needless to say I splurged Sunday, and now there are only 11 boxes left 🙁 But I have been so sick to my stomach the last 2 day that I don’t know if I will ever be able to look at a peep again!!

FILs gave me a chocolate bunny…I gave that one away…shhhh. But oh, the Sixlets and the Cadbury cream eggs…and the jelly beans…mine…allll mine.

Doesn’t it seem impossible to give up?!
Really the only way I found to beat it is to stop buying it! So we did. Even when ice cream is on sale I resist and it sucks, but I know I’ll be happy in the long run!

wow! I’ve got a horrible sweet tooth but HAVE to have vegies or fruit soon after! lol why don’t you try substituting sugar with fruits! like yummy strawberries sliced into pieces and put between two buttermilk waffles with LIGHT syrup…it’s amazing…sorry my craving popped out!!

Eek! Do you have someone who can hold you accountable to limiting your sugar intake?
I think sugar is addicting… the more I eat, the more I want. If I go without it, I get so used to not having it that it doesn’t bother me at all though!

….Reading this just now!! FI handed me a chocolate chip cookie!! AHHH!! I said no i dont want it!! He said EAT IT!! I dont want anymore!! DONT waste it!! GUILTY! I have a major sweet tooth! and so does he but the difference is! He could eat sugar all day & never gain a pound!

O no! I know exactly how you feel. It sucks!!! I dnt live with my parents or anything like that but my FI is the WORST. He left about week ago for work and he had just bought all kinds of junk food and 10, yes TEN, boxes of delicious girl scout cookies. AHHH, they are still in the cabinets taunting me.

Sugar is the devil!
I also struggle with it. Sugary sugary goodness. I’ll probably gorge myself on wedding cake that night to get the fix after depriving myself.
We all know it’s not the greatest thing for you, but we’re here! You can put down that icing! And dang girl…that is so incredible you lost 80 lbs!
Just count this weekend as a mulligan. Anybody who’s such a dieting diva like you with such great results deserves a little teeny slip here and there. Good luck in the 5k!~
