I haven't seen one quite like that, but I Am Baker has some cool colored/patterned cakes:

She does things like this:

And she has a recipe for a rainbow layer cake - http://iammommy.typepad.com/i_am_baker/2009/10/rainbow-cake-recipe.html
I TOTALLY wanted a rainbow cake, but DH was like, "No." Maybe at the reception next year...
My aunt does some cakes where she pokes holes in the top and then pours jello down the holes...it comes out kind of like this! Cool!
Oh my friend made a cake like that! I think it is a white or yellow cake base, and then she did something that involved jello mix? Maybe she poked holes and poured it in?? or swirled it then baked? Sorry, that is like no help- but what a fun cake!
That doesn't look hard? Different cake batters, then you put one red glop in the center, and keep layering the other colors?
We got a tye-dye/ rainbow cake for my BFF bridal shower! It was so yummy and fun!!!
I made cupcakes like this. With food coloring I colored 5 separate bowls of batter. Put a big dollop of each color next to each other in the tin and baked. I think it would be the same thing for a cake, but with using a cake pan instead of a muffin tin.
Holy shit, I will totally make cake for 100 people if I can do it like this. WIN!
