My husband and I get the same thing. He's only 10 months older than me, but he's bald and shaves his head as well. It never fails...I'll get carded everywhere even though I'm 30, and he gets passed up all the time! I swear our neighbors think that he robbed the cradle!
Maybe if your dad was getting busy in kindergarten..?

Yay for another Bee with a hubby who shaves his head! I love DH's shaved head and think he looks kind of funny with hair.
I do think your husband looks older than you in that picture (although I don't think the shaved head has anything to do with it). But I don't think I would ever assume he's your dad.

Haha, I got the opposite. I posted a picture of my dad walking me down the aisle on facebook, but my DH hates having his picture posted online so there's none of him. I got a comment that was like "You guys look so in love! Best wishes on your marriage".

Yeah I wouldn't think Dad...especially since you don't have a bouquet and don't look like you're walking down a runner.
They probably just posted in a hurry but weren't paying attention. I'd just take it as a compliment to looking young! :)

@teaadntoast: Yup, 35. It's my genetic blessing and curse. I love getting away with stuff like marrying a young guy and being able to wear youthful dresses; but hate having to prove my credentials all the time to get any respect.
For the record this is my dad. 62, has hair and looks like me :)

i sent my guy to my hairdresser once and she thought he was my dad. hilarious. we are the same age...well i'm 3 months older. but i always tell him he looks like an old man!
@junabiona: I call my FI old man becasue he's got almost a full head of gray hair and he just turned 27!

And I feel you on the looking too young sometimes. The meter man asked me if my parents were home yesterday :/
I don't think anyone has mistook FI for my dad- but, I'm sure they think he's quite a bit older, he shaves his head as well, and has a beard.

This reminded me of when a waiter thought my grandfather was my date. We had to draw the line when he brought our cheesecake out on the same plate with two forks. My Grandpa said something and it was quite awkward after that lol.
I'm 2.5 years older than my FI, but he gets told he looks older all the time (mainly because my curls hide my gray hairs well). Poor guy went bald at 16. He shaves his head now so he doesn't have the horseshoe hairline.
Lol whoever posted clearly didnt pay much attention to the picture because there is no way he looks old enough to be your dad.

I find this hilarious, especially considering I'm 35 and he's only 28!
I posted the photo in the facebook page of POWD.com since I'm trying to sell the dress, and captioned it "our introduction as Mr.and Mrs.". Apparantly the owner of the site didn't read the caption and put the comment "Your dad looks so happy and proud!". She must've realized her mistake and deleted it later because it no longer shows up, but I still got it in my Facebook notifications and email. First I was confused like "you can see my dad in the photo?". Then I realized she's talking about my husband, LOL. My poor husband didn't find it as amusing.
I know I look young and he shaves his head, but come on, does he really look like my dad???
