    Go blue! I think that a light blue will go well with your color scheme and will fulfill your “something blue”. Laughing

    Honestly, I would stick with the white or ivory traditional, but that is just me! It depends on what type of ceremony/reception feel you are going for. If you want something more traditional stay with white, if you want something more outside the box do the blue! My personal taste would be the white but I think either would work.

    the idea of a blue isle runner is creative, but isn’t the whole “something old, something new” tradition regarding things the bride actually wears?  you could wear sapphire earrings or a blue hair accessory if you want it to be seen.  i actually loved the idea from the movie Bride Wars where they stuck a simple hair pin with a couple blue beads at the end into anne hathaway’s hair.  or maybe it was kate hudson’s… in either case, it was a cute idea.  also, i think the light blue runner under your girls in lavender dresses will look to Easterish, you know?
