Hey Wedding bees,
My wedding is coming up in three months and I still don’t know what my something borrowed will be. I was talking to my mom today and she is going to look at her jewelry box but she has a lot of gold stuff. I am trying to figure out what else can she let me borrow. What is your something borrowed? Please Share 🙂

This was my something old AND borrowed. A piece of lace from my mom’s wedding dress that I pinned under mine. Although she ended up telling me to keep it afterwards to give to my future daughter/daughter-in-law to pin under her dress for good luck too 🙂

I don’t have a picture but my something borrowed is also my something old. My grandfather (who was my hero, he died when I was 16) gave my grandmother pearls for the wedding gift when they got married. My grandmother has kept them but the chain had broken but for the wedding, she had the pearls re-stringed and I will be wearing them at our wedding!

I have two items that are both old and borrowed!
The first is a set of candlesticks. They were used at my grandparents’ wedding (a gift from my great-grandparents) and my parents’ wedding, and now ours!
The second is a mother-of-pearl Bible my grandfather brought back from Jerusalem. (He was a Peacekeeper and served over there.) We will be having our Bible readings read from this Bible during our ceremony.

Mine is my something old and something borrowed. My aunt is going to use my mom’s veil from the 70s and make a small hair pin. I really felt bad about cutting up her veil but she is all for it.
