Yey! April is making our cake for our Sept wedding!! We love her so much... not only does she do beautiful work, but it tastes so delicious and she is the sweetest, nicest most accomodating vendor we have worked with yet. Good luck to everyone going to the workshop!

April is making our cake too and like alibride above said she is such a pleasure to work with. Really listens to your ideas and then makes the best suggestions. Not to mention her cakes taste delicious!

Thanks, guys. Anyone else going to the event? The tickets are a little pricey, but I am not having a planner, so I figure stuff like this will help me. I bought my ticket on the site online (www.nyweddingworkshop.com), but then I found out that I could have gotten $10 off by saying I saw in on Daily Candy (on another post!), so I called and they refunded me the $10.

Hi NYC Bees! I just found out from my friend that the top raffle prize at the New York Wedding Workshop next weekend is a free April Reed wedding cake! Did anyone else hear this? She got her cake from April which is how she knows. i LUUUUV her cakes and totally want one for my wedding in LI, but it is too much $$$. So, I think it is worth going just for that. I probably shouldn't tell you all b/c you'll be my competition, but I couldn't help myself!
