Is it a rash?

Have you ever had chicken pox?

@Aquaria:  can you post a close up I picture? Are you sure it’s acne and nothing more serious?

Are they weeping a bit? Do you get cold sores? I wonder if it could have spread. I know that can sometimes happen. A doctor can do a swab to confirm. Probably not likely, though, but it’s the first thing that popped into my head. Heat rash maybe??

It sounds like the chicken pox. I got them when I was six (a mild case) and then again at the age of 17. They’re rough!

@Aquaria:  Have you been out in the sun? It may sound like a stupid suggestion, but the first time I went to Cuba I got such a bad sunburn that my entire face was covered in water blisters and it was horrible.

Also, I say go to a doctor asap. You don’t want to mess around with your face!

@Aquaria:  It could be cold sores or shingles (same family of virus.) Shingles are notorious for being really painful and can come on kind of suddenly. I would google image search it and see- I had shingles a few months ago and it hurt like hell.

Could be an allergic reaction, have you used any new products on your face?

Sounds like contact dermatitis? I know you said you haven’t changed skin care products…but maybe you’ve exposed yourself to something else? Some new perfume? Rinsed your face at the gym with soap on your hands? Touched something with your hands and then touched your face, where the skin is more sensitive?

A trip to the doctor wouldn’t hurt!
