@Makemeamrs:  haha. I actually forgot to do part of it! Here were my plans:

  • Old: Mom’s wedding dress buttons to replace my buttons (Planned, but forgot)

  • New: My wedding band. The most important item I gain on my wedding day.

  • Borrowed: Mom’s opal earrings. (I used them as my old and borrowed. The opals were my grandmothers’ mother’s!)

  • Blue: My birthstone ring (turquoise) and a blue butterfly pin in my bouquet that belonged to my grandmother.

My something borrowed will be my grandmother’s necklace, left to my mom.

My something old will be a piece of my other grandmother’s silk scarf, stitched inside my gown.

Something new…oh, I don’t know yet!

Something blue will be the sapphire engagement ring I was proposed to with. 🙂

This I have mostly figured out.

Old: lace from my mother’s wedding dress.  We’re wrapping my flowers with it.

New: Dress

Borrowed: a purse.  It’s a wedding purse that has been through all my friends.  It’s hideously ugly.  But now it’s a ‘thing’ with us.

Blue: shoes!

@Makemeamrs:  Glad you enjoyed them! I think shoes are an awesome and easy way to pull off something blue 🙂
