Something Old: My grandmother’s hand-embroidered purse. I’ll keep my lipstick and things in it on the day of the wedding.

Something New: Dress, veil, shoes… basically my entire outfit lol

Something Borrowed: My mom’s diamond tennis bracelet

Something Blue: I added tiny blue swarovski crystals to the bottom of the heel on my shoes!

Something old/something blue: I am removing the white satin buttons from my dress, and I sewing vintage blue and gold glass buttons onto it.

Something borrowed, my mother is lending me a beautiful white jade necklace or my mother in law is lending me a diamond necklace.

Something new: my friend is a metal smith, and he is making me copper hair combs and pins shaped like olive leaves for my hair.

brittnamrogo :

Something Old/Borrowed: My maternal grandma’s wedding band. My mom had it fixed up, just so I could wear it the day of the wedding, on my right hand of course! 🙂

Something Blue: My bracelet has sapphires in it, my garter is Detroit Tigers blue and my sister gave me a Cameo from Italy that will be on my bouquet that has a hint of blue in it.

Something New: Basically everything I am wearing that day, dress, veil, shoes, jewelry…etc.

I’d like to separate my old and borrowed, but as of right now, I don’t have anything “old” that I am keeping! I love hearing all the Bees different ideas!

My something  blue will be a blue butterfly necklace that FI gave me for our first Christmas together, I’ve not decided on the rest yet!

My Something New was my dress, shoes, veil, underwear, jewellery….. 😛

My something borrowed was a pair of earrings from my Mum

My Something blue was a photo charm to attach to my bouquet, with photos of my 2 Granddads and my Uncle who had all passed before the Wedding.

I didn’t want to but got forced into it the day of the wedding. I had blue undies, a new dress, old makeup and my BFF gave me a ring off her finger for something borrowed on the ride over.
