I will be doing it. My something old and blue are the same thing, though.

Something old was my great grandmothers 1920s necklace

    Something new was my dress

Something borrowed was my grandmas veil

Something blue was my shoes (and later in the night my shawl)

i’ve figured out some of mine!

    • my blue is a blue tourmaline pendant. my godfather bought it for me.
    • i think my old will be a piece of lace from my grandmother’s wedding dress, which i’ll wrap around my bouquet.
    • my new will most likely be shoes. i wanna strass a pair of shoes to wear with my dress.

i haven’t figured out a borrowed yet. though, the lace could count as borrowed, and the diamond in my ring could count as old, since the diamond is an heirloom stone.

I’m struggling with this as well.  I want all of my something’s to be in a single photograph together.  I will have something new, my garter, something borrowed, my MIL’s handkerchief, something blue, my shoes, and something old, I’m still trying to figure out.

Yes, for me it was fun and low stress.

    New – dress

Old – the rosary that my grandma used to sleep with under her pillow.

Borrowed – bracelets borrowed from my sister, she wore them for her wedding 1 year earlier

Blue – my grandma stitched my wedding date into the inside of my wedding dress in blue thread

@CaseyC2611:  i saw on pinterest where someone cut a heart shape from their dads shirt and sewed it into their dress. if you are willing to do that?

Something old: I pinned a cameo form my great-grandmother onto my bouquet. No pro pics of this yet!

Something new: Practically everything, lol. Let’s go with… dress!

Something borrowed: A pearl bracelet from my mom

Something blue: An aquamarine ring that DH gave me as a wedding gift

(You can sort of see both of those in this pic!)
