Something old: my mom loaned me a locket with my Papa’s picture in it (didn’t match anything in my wedding and was the most special item I carried) wrapped it around my flowers.

Something borrowed: the locket above

Something blue: my sisters (who were in my bridal party) put charms for each of us and our dad on a blue ribbon which I tucked into my dress.

Something new: my beautiful jewelry, that I obsessed over.

I think what I’m going to do is:

Something old: My grandmother’s diamond, which I had made into a right hand ring – I’m also going to have my other grandmother’s locket on my bouquet.

Something new:My dress!

Something borrowed: I’m borrowing my mom’s pearls and I think I’m also borrowing her best friend’s veil, I’m going to try it on with my dress next time I’m home.

Something blue: My right hand ring has some sapphires, that’s close enough!

So far the only thing I know I’m going to have is my something old.  My grandmother gave me some earrings that are rose gold flowers with a teeny pearl in the center.

My new is probably is going to be my dress.  After that I haven’t decided.

I made a charm bracelet that I’m going to wear as an anklet! It took me so long to decide what to do, but I love it!
