So since I've moved in with my SO I've been figuring a ring is coming sometime in the near future (we talked about it a lot before I moved here). He got a pretty nice tax return and has hinted that he's going to put it toward a ring. So I brought up a few things I want -- inexpensive so that he doesn't go into debt over it, square cut stone, don't care if it's a diamond, etc. And then left it at that.
But our 5 year anniversary is March 17, and I've been hoping it's sometime in March...I don't want to get to set on it so that I'm not disappointed, and lately I've been thinking a proposal is not coming anytime soon.
AND THEN, I was cleaning up today and going through his laundry to pull out all the towels to wash...and I found a list of all the jewelry stores where we live. which, omg. it means he's been working on it. it could be any time now!
anyway, it's the most definitive sign i've had it's coming REALLY SOON and i'm pretty giddy. but i don't want to tell anyone offline in case it doesn't happen yet. i'll keep you all posted :)
