My hair is really long right now, but I'll chop it after the wedding!
That's amazing! My hair's only about shoulder-length, but that's kind of long for me. I'm considering a PRE-wedding chop!
That's exiting! I haven't decided how long my hair will be; I go through phases where I'll impulsively chop it all off!
it also works if you're having a fairly simple downdo.. never hurts to ask!
That's awesome! My hair is just a bit past shoulder length, but I just want my hair down with curls, so I'm hoping to get a decent price if I end up having a professional do my hair. I want to chop it off, but FI loves my hair long and so I'm waiting until after the wedding to chop it to my chin! I can't wait though!!! I'm already dreading having to spend 20+ minutes blow drying my hair every morning all winter. Right now it's warm enough (knock on wood) that I can get away with it air drying on my way to work. But once it gets colder, I have to blowdry or my hair will freeze.

Great job! You should get a discount as they definitely do not have the same work as with a bride with super long hair. Please post pics after the wedding!

I'm getting married in December and just booked my hair and makeup artist for the big day. Because my hair is a chinlength bob and I just wanted some curls put it along with my fab silver birdcage veil, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask if there was any way that she could lower her day of rate (150$). She just sent me a note saying that she would only charge me 75$ (!!!!)
Any other short haired brides getting deals?
