@musician32992:  Nothing, honestly. I wouldnt demand she pay or send her a bill or anything…you cannot teach good manners. That sucks big time, but I’d just pay the bill.

She should have offered to pay, but since she didn’t, you are probably going to have to do it, unless you want to look petty. It was an accident.

@badabing88:  +1. I would just suck it up and pay the bill and say nothing to her. She should have offered to pay on her own but probably she is clueless about such things.

If it were me I would not expect anything except an apology.

I would suck it up and pay the bill.  Sucks that she spilled the drink on your dress, but accidents happen, so unless she purposely poured a glass of wine down the front of your dress, I think you’re on your own with the bill.

I would accept an apology but I’d just pay the dry cleaning bill myself since it was an honest accident.  If she offered to pay that’d be great but I probably wouldn’t hold it against her if she didn’t.

@musician32992:  Yeah, I would have offered, but the point is that she didn’t. That was rude of her, and it *is* within your right to ask her to pay, but unfortunately, if you do so, you will look petty.

Nobody has ever offered to pay my dry cleaning bill if they spilled a drink on my outfit. I wouldnt even give it any thought. It isnt that serious (to me).

I’d find a cheaper dry cleaner and forget about it.
