I really want to play I Feel Good, by James Brown. I think it'll really get people pumped for the reception and I think it'll express what I'll be feeling!
She's Mine - Brett Dennen... such a jazzy, feel good song.
People might have different views because the lyrics are a little "different", but I think he's saying no matter what craziness is going on the world, it doesn't matter because "she's mine", which I think is totally sweet.
We're going to do super-most traditional with Felix Mendelssohn's "Wedding Music". If you're looking for traditional options, this website is neat cause you don't have to download the songs, just click the icon for a preview:

We aren't sure about what song yet, but we are having a bagpiper. I can't wait!
Stevie Wonder "For Once in my Life"
followed by "Signed Sealed, Delivered"
I'm like 99% positive we're going to use "Lucky" by Jason Mraz & Colbie Callait, but just the piano instrumental version.
We used Life In Technicolor by Coldplay. It really fit our wedding and we got so many compliments afterward!
We are using "All you need is love" by the Beatles too. We are even taking it a little further by adding it as a sort-of tagline/theme to some of the paper products like programs and favor tags.
lol my uncle was joking around (he is our officiant) and said we should use finally by CeCe peniston.. but the more I started to think about it .. I thought it would be fun.. we might be using that :)
We're using "I Believe In a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness! :)
y'all have so many fun songs! We haven't decided yet, but you guys are giving me some good inspiration. :-)
My bridal party is walking into an instrumental verion of "God Only Knows" by the Vitamin String Quartet. So, I thought it would be fun for my fiance and I to walk out of the ceremony to the original version of the song by the Beach Boys.
We're going with Best of my Love by the Emotions. It's a bit cheesy but I love it!
Oh wow... I can't believe I hadn't considered an instrumental version of Beatles or Beach Boys songs! My FI is a guitarist (like, he's almost through his doctorate in guitar) and composer, and I'm sure he could come up with an awesome arrangement! And those bands used lots of strings, anyway, so it would sound great... LadyGoodman, I'm sure it will be awesome, and thanks for the inspiration!
we used stevie wonder signed sealed delieverd, and it was perfect, just what we needed to set the mood!
We're going with Got to Get you Into My Life, by The Beatles! Love. It. Starts with trumpets blaring, and should really get the party started!
We walked out to "Lucky" by Jason Mraz and Colbie Calliet.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
What song are you playing when the ceremony is finished and you exit the room, church, etc...
