Christy42213: I thought the same thing! I didn’t know if they wanted songs that didn’t mention alcohol or adult beverages. I clicked on it because I wanted to see what the fuss was all about!

Songs are hardest… ugh.

I think I’m going to have a first dance be to A Couple of Forevers by Chrisette Michele and that’s all I got. Strangely enough… I have particular songs picked out for the Cocktail Hour already :/

Bride/Groom-Justin Timberlake:Take back the night

Fiirst Dance Song- John Legend:All of me

I haven’t made it official yet, but I’m pretty sure I’m walking down the aisle to a live performance of Make You Feel My Love (the Adele version) and our first dance is going to be You and I by John Legend… well, that’s what we planned on, but now that the song is a single it may get overused and in that case, we won’t use it.

The processional and recessional will likely just be piano so I haven’t decided on a song. What did you all use for father-daughter dances?

I think my bridal party will walk to pianist playing ready for love india arie and when i enter the singer will start singing the song, probably last verse. I’m not particular about what plays for unity candle lighting. I’m not sure about recessional. I need to see what the pianist already knows. Both my parents will be walking me down so they don’t need a song. His parents will have a song we still need to choose.

So I am definitely using the Piano Guys to play Christina Perri’s a Thousand Years. And the last dance of the night will be Beyonce’s XO or Before I Let Go by Frankie Beverly and Maze…. just depends on who is on the dance floor. LOL.
