i was just listening to pandora and “brown eyed girl” by van morrison just came on. i learned at the age of 23 that i had been singing the first line wrong my whole life.
definitely thought “hey where did we go?” was “hey rodrigo!” no idea why i thought that made sense!
my older brother looooooves to remind me of that one!

You know that song that sounds like it’s saying “Money Money”? I always replace it with “guacamole”.

T.I “Whatever you like” – I always said, “Snacks on Me / Patron’ on Ice”….the words are not Snacks on me. Made sense to me. Patron makes you drunk, you get hungry when you drink, and he’s a “baller” so he would totally buy you snacks!!

I’ve been messing up Gotye’s “Somebody I used to know” lately. But I just read the lyrics so I won’t be doing that anymore 😉

Journey – Don’t Stop Believin’
I always sing it as “I seen her in a smoky room” instead of “a singer in a smoky room”

The Cutting Crew’s, “(I Just) Died in Your Arms” they sing; I just died in your arms tonight
It must’ve been some kind of kiss.
However I thought they sung;
I just died in your arms tonight
It must’ve been some kind of cheese.
Took YEARS to finally convince me that I was wrong! 😉

Bruce Springsteen’s Tenth Avenue Freeze Out. To me it sounds like Ten Devils in the Freezer. Go ahead, sing it that way. . you’ll see. .

In college, we used to make fun of the Shakira song “Underneath Your Clothes” b/c it sounded like she was saying, “Underneath your balls…”

Styx’s “Not Dead Yet” of the Edge of the Century album. Growing up I always thought it was “Knock Daddy Out.” I still hear that when it comes up on my iPod.

@MissBoPeep: LOL! Now watch, I’m going to sing it that way on my home from work. 🙂

I can’t think of any specifically but I remember when Fall Out Boy came out with Sugar We’re Going Down and everyone seemed to screw those up.
