All the girls and me are getting ready in a hotel room and I want to add to the fun by bringing an ipod with songs that fit the themes of relaxing, getting ready for marriage, and celebrating female friendships. I only have a few songs so far. Can anyone add to my list?

What a great idea! I don't know of any along that theme, but one thing a friend of mine did was make a mix of all our favorite songs from when we were in high school. So if you find yourself unable to come up with a lengthy list, you can try adding in some nostalgic favorites, too!

Going to the Chapel, by the Dixie Cups...that should make any bride or bridesmaid excited the morning of the wedding. I'm considering just having it on repeat, though I think that may drive everyone else crazy :)

I was going to put together a similar mix for my bachelorette party but ran out of time before I needed to go. Some of the ones I was going to include:

Sisters are Doing it For Themselves - Annie Lennox & Aretha Franklin
So Much Better - Legally Blonde the Musical

Material Girl - Madonna

I also like the idea of adding songs from when you were in school together. Such a fun idea!

I just made a girls' night out CD for a recent weekend with my FSILs and their friends. Some of the songs may be more fast-paced than what you're looking for, but then, you may want to dance around a little bit to de-stress! :) I second "Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves", and here are a few that haven't been mentioned already:
