It really depends on what type of music you like.  I don’t listen to much current pop.  I do like some country and lots of 80s music.  I also like classic standards (think Frank Sinatra or Ray Charles or other old music)…..

CatieMack:  I’m walking into Pachelbel’s Canon in D, and I’m not sure about the bridal party yet; either they’ll walk in to the intro, or to something else entirely.

For signing the register we’re having Florence and the Machine ‘You got the Love’ with Take That ‘Greatest Day’ as a back-up.

Then we’re walking out to The Beatles ‘All you need is love’.

It was made easier for us as we’re having a string trio so we just chose pieces from their repertoire that we liked and felt were ‘wedding appropriate’.

My party walked into the ceremony to Sara Barielles – I Choose You and it was PERFECT! I walked in to Meiko – Stuck on You, and while it was playing, I didn’t hear it a bit. Everyone exited to Alex Boye’s cover of Happy. For the reception the party entered to U2 – Beautiful Day and my husband and I entered to Sister Hazel – One Love. I didn’t hear our music again 🙂 I know it was playing, though! First dance was Norah Jones – Come Away with Me. No clue what our last dance was, though. We had first dances from various couples who were at our wedding interspersed throughout the reception.
