I know that Thriller-Michael Jackson sure gets the crowd pumped.

It really depends on the average age of the people at your reception.  But any party i’ve been to the songs that keep people on the dance floor are Jump Around by House of Pain and Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer.  We are in our early 30’s and those 2 are guaranteed to be played at our reception.

A good DJ is able to read the crowd and figure out what to play

Look for one with quality reviews and you will be happy

Ours was AWESOME

The one slow song that packed the floor was Unchained Melody, pretty sure every couple young and old were out there for that

Love Shack was a bit hit

Pretty much anything Prince

Livin on a Prayer

This was a really funny one, but Party in the U.S.A by Miley Cyrus. It was just cute because the kids were really dancing to it and so were all of their parents
