This my first post, was wondering what songs you guys used to sign your marriage license? I would like something beachy/upbeat, I was going to use "Somewhere over the rainbow" by israel kamakawiwo'ole, but my Finacee's cousin used that last August at her wedding and I don't want to be a copy cat, our wedding is in August as well, thats why I would like something upbeat, please HELP !!

for us we did it in the back of the church while everyone was outside getting ready to send us off to the reception. So no music. just me, DH, BM and MOH and Father Todd. We didnt have that as part of our ceremony service.

i havent heard of this too often either. Are you making it part of your ceremony?

@Julesb81: I was thinking I hadn't heard of this either. I remember my sister signed hers off to the side after the ceremony. People were chatting and nobody really noticed. I don't ever remember seeing any other couples make it a part of the ceremony or reception at any weddings I've been to. Am I lame for never having heard of this? Or maybe it's regional?

Sorry I can't help! lol, I'm actually posting on here because I'm curious about the practice.
