Awwww yay! I'm a fairly new "bee" too, so we can be excited together! The big question for me is supposed to come sometime in November too...so I'm sure we're feeling the same nervousness, excitement, and obsession! Enjoy weddingbee!

Believe me I will. I know he has something sneaky up his sleeve! He's a romantic, so I have no idea what to expect.
Today he received a phone call and answered it very strangely. He looked at me sideways and then walked out of the room with a big awkward grin and shut the door behind him. When he came back, he had this WEIRD look on his face like he just realized something (you know that look that men get, ha) and when I asked "who was that?" He replied, "I don't know!" *ridiculous grin spreads on his face from ear to ear and he's glowing red*
I think it was my dad, haha.
@firemanslady: how sweet!! i know the grin! M keeps giving me this strange but adorable look and he keeps staring at me... and i dunno he is very lovey dovey lately... so do you have any idea how he's going to be proposing?

@crebre: Well, at first it was going to be at a firefighter bbq with all of his close friends and our families, and everyone else's families, and kids...etc. (I commute to school and all of my close friends live about an hour+ away, sooo I don't really mind that they won't be there. Would live there myself except I sacrifice for D's job...you know...the "brotherhood" of firemen. I knew what I was getting into when I got into this!)
BUT I found out about that. He keeps saying "Oh you won't have to wait much longer, just a LITTLE bit longer." Grrr! But he's asked me several times to MAKE SURE I still do not have to work the evening shift at work that night?! Who knows. I'm in retail (BLAH...thanks to changing majors and having to be in school for the rest of my life, haha.) and the hours are ridiculous around Thanksgiving and Christmas...so, we can't ask off for any days after the 18th of November. I told D that and said "Well, what if I have to work on the night you propose?!"
Apparently, he's got it all under control. Apparently, he already knows when I'm working????
haha. what a tease! at least you got some notice! Get a manicure! hehe!

Hey girls,
I know I am new here and all...haven't really developed a relationship with you all yet...BUT I just thought I would share my excitement, considering I feel like we are all in the same little boat!
D told me TODAY that I would be getting my e-ring sometime in November. He said me finding out about the first proposal didn't ruin anything; I "may" just have to wait a "teeeny bit" (his words, hah) longer. That means it must still be in November! ;) Right? Yes. He is a man and it is burning a hole in his pocket! It drives me nuts that it's so close but sooo far...hehe.
