I have seen so many posts with the Bernadette dress by Maggie Soterro, but I wasn’t a fan of how much the chest and neck were covered. I read blogs that you couldn’t alter the neck area due to the lace, but my alterations woman was amazing! We took back the lace and made it more of a cap sleeve dress. See pics below!

When I was looking for my perfect dress, this thread really helped me a lot. I loved reading all of your comments and looking at your pics. Now, I want to give back and say that the Bernadette dress is beautiful. It was the first and only dress I tried on, and I didn’t want to take it off. There’s something about that key hole back and train that had me going crazy! Hope you enjoy the pics ! and take a look at my wedding trailer, where you can get a better idea of the dress. Hope you ladies enjoy your Bernadette as much as I did, and thanks for all the input!

OP, you are simply stunning!
I love this dress! It has been my dream dress since I first saw it, but I couldn’t find it anywhere in Australia so I out it out of my mind. After buying a dress and then having dress regret big time I managed to find a Bernadette on eBay brand new in my size for $850! It just arrived a few days ago, and holy heck. Photos DO NOT do this amazing gown any justice. Seeing it in person, its beyond beautiful.
I can’t wait to be a Bernadette bride!

yes, it is. I have seen that some brides have it removed, but I personally liked it. It is very delicate and gives the bust a visual shape, or reference.. hope I am making sense 😛
