I am so confused and lost in the world of TTC. When DH and I startd TTC, I had no idea how difficult this journey was going to be. There has been a couple months where we thought we might have been pregnant but continued to get BFN, and AF was just late 🙁 This month AF is super late! I am using an app on my phone, and the app is saying about about 20 days late. I have taken 4 tests and all of them are negative. In the past 2 weeks i have had a lot of headaches, which I dont normally get, i have had crams in my lower abdominal region for the past couple days, almost like AF is on her way, but nothing. A few weeks ago i had some minimal spotting, but nothing else. I have felt naucious, a bit here and there. And last week i was extremely tired during the day, but i kind of brused that on the fact that i just got in from being out of town for a couple days, and was at work. Has anyone had this situation before? Is there a possibility I could be pregnant? I dont think i have been under much stress lately at all, so i dont think that could trigger AF not coming. Should I see my doctor? Thank you Bees for your help!!!! 🙂

I think you should see a doctor. You might have something that causes irregular periods like PCOS.

@mrsw5711: Most likely you ovulated later than usual, but the only way to confirm that is if you were charting your BBT. If you go 60 days without a period, call your doctor and make an appointment. Hope you get an answer soon.

@MissAsB: I have looked up the symptoms for PCOS, and I have thought about going to my doctors to ask them about the possibility of me having it. I think its just about time to go

@mrsw5711: If your urine tests are negative, then it is doubtful that you are pregnant. I would continue to wait for at least another week or two and definitely would recommend charting your BBT like hardtoconcentrate said. It gives you a great picture of if you’ve ovulated, if you’re in your luteal phase, if you really may be pregnant or if your period is on your way.

I’m a little the same (nausea, exhaustion, headaches, extremely late AF, BFN) but I’m putting mine down to shift work. I’m heading off to the doctor in the next couple of weeks for a follow up after being put on a gluten free diet for the past month because he thought it may be coeliacs. Maybe go to the doctor and just describe your symptoms without mentioning pregnancy?

Anything that is abnormal merrits a visit to the doctor. Especially in this instance. It’s much better to be safe then sorry.

@mrsw5711: If your periods are that late or irregular then maybe you should see a doctor and see what’s going on … you might have nothing and maybe just the stress of TTC can cause it too.
